Program is for youth ages 13-19 Each week a different topic will be covered: July 9 - Job Searching and Cover Letters - increase understanding of the job market, where to look and how to look for jobs effectively. Participants will be introduced to job search resources and upcoming youth job fairs. Discussion of the purpose and need of cover letters.  Jul 16 - Creating a Résumé: The first half of the workshop will provide participants with an overview of the parts of a résumé and discussions of what to include on a résumé if an individual has never worked before. In the second half of the workshop, participants are invited to have their own résumés reviewed by facilitators. Jul 23 - Job Interviews The first half of this workshop involves a discussion on how to prepare for an interview including what to wear, what to bring, and how to position oneself as the best candidate for the job. In the second half of the workshop participants will be invited to take part in mock interviews.Program will take place in the Meeting Room.
