YOGA NIDRA & Clearing The Heart Chakra
I invite you to join me for an evening of profound relaxation and deep transformation!!
You may ask, "what is Yoga Nidra?" It is Sanskrit for “yogic sleep”, where participants are guided to relax mind, body and spirit so deeply it is near to being asleep, and yet you are aware.
In this state of deep relaxation, you will be guided to release a heart ailment of the emotional type as we work with clearing the heart chakra.
Before beginning the session we will discuss the Heart CHakra & the related Yantra (symbol) & Mantra (chant), which will be used during the Yoga Nidra. Also, each participant will create a personal SANKALPA (Mantra or Affirmation) relevant to their concern. This will also be used during the session.
This ancient technique from India is proving effective for self-confidence, anxiety, stress relief & “ is also being applied by the US Army to assist soldiers to recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.”
Please arrive by 6:45 to settle in so we can begin at 7:00pm, promptly.
To ensure guests are fully aware & grounded, the evening will conclude with homemade, caffeine-free Yogi Tea, also know as Chai. If you wish to capture your experience you may wish to bring a journal.
Props, pillows & blankets are provided for full relaxation; but you will need to bring a yoga mat. I have 2 anti-gravity chairs for those who may find it challenging to recline on the floor.
