You deserve a break. You deserve to feel grounded, held and safe. Sound Bathing offers a reprieve from the noise of day to day life and invites us to pause our thinking minds. My mission is to help you remember your greatness and worth in the present moment and to create a soundscape where you can feel all of the above. I'm thrilled to offer a second location for Wild Peace sound bathing and Dragon Heart Healing feels like the perfect space to do it. Not only has Kat curated her studio with all of the equipment we need to make this sound bathing class cozy (mats, bolsters, mood lighting etc) but she also has a giant plant wall and wait for it... free parking!
If you haven't been to a sound bathing class before, let me fill you in on what to expect. Sound Bathing is a relaxation technique and meditative experience where participants "bathe" in the sound waves produced by my voice, singing bowls, chimes etc. Crystal singing bowls emit powerful vibrations that can have numerous health benefits including:
Deep Relaxation (not only during but days after)
Better management of stress/anxiety
Nervous system regulation
Reduced blood pressure
Increase in immune system function
Enhanced sleep/memory and more!!
The goal of a sound bath isn't to listen and pay attention but rather to let the sound wash over you. We spend a hilarious amount of time up in our heads, overthinking, over-worrying and it's so important to give yourself a break. All you have to do lie back, relax and let the sound transport you. You'll be guided in a short meditation and then immersed in a soundscape that will invite presence, stillness and bliss into your life. Music has a way of connecting us to deeper parts of ourselves, speaking the language of the heart and helping us feel what we need to feel. If you're in need of an evening of self care, then this class is for you!
*Yoga mats and bolsters will be provided but if you prefer to bring your own please feel free. I recommend bringing a pillow and a blanket for extra coziness. Comfortable clothing is recommended as well as a water bottle. For deeper relaxation I recommend an eye pillow or eye mask. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled.*
