An interactive workshop by the Canadian Mental Health Association for faculty and other people managers and mentors interested in developing an understanding ofmental health and mental distress.

You will learn how to define and explore mental health and mental distress, tackle  stigma, discrimination, and assumptions, and learn about supportive communication tools and resources. 

We will also share a new mental health and crisis protocol for people managers, intended to support you in knowing what to do when one of your people is experiencing difficulties, and a comprehensive list of SickKids, University of Toronto and community mental health and crisis resources.
