Meet at the whimsical Berczy Park dog fountain learning it's details and short history. We proceed to venture into Old Town Toronto where guests learn all about the famous landmarks and sights! First guests get the rundown on long lost buildings and secret anecdotes about the early history of Toronto and it's predecessor the Town of York. We see Victorian churches and cathedrals, gothic revival famous landmarks and continue on.

Next we see the world famous St. Lawrence Market where guests can meet the vendors and find out about the hidden gems and best bargains to be found. Learn about the owners and also the background of the foods! Visitors will be taught about the unknown insider stories of the history of the market, and the former buildings long gone from the site! From the St. Lawrence Market we then visit a relatively unknown gem even to locals!  One of the oldest standing historic buildings in Toronto, that doubles as a working post office!

Finally we explore a hidden courtyard and then on to the famous Distillery Historic District. Guests don't experience this place unless with a guide! We cover the hidden history and the true stories of the growth of the former largest distillery in the British Empire. We finish here with a photo and insider's guide to smuggling, gangsters and Prohibition!

You SHOULD wear comfortable footwear for walking, applicable to the season.  You should wear proper clothing and especially wear warm hat and gloves in the winter.  The tour will run in any weather, and can be outside in the heat or the freezing cold winter.  We will cool off or warm up as often as possible!

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can email me at experienceTO@outlook.com

I can be reached at 647 236 6381.  I repeat I WILL NOT answer my phone any later than 15 mins into a tour.
