TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas) is the next step in furthering your welding skills. The sequel to MIG Welding 101, this course goes over the different types of welds, techniques, and how to prepare your material for welding, tacking, and laying down a simple bead. You will also learn about the specific safety considerations associated with the TIG Welder. TIG Welding is especially useful for thinner gauge metals, stainless steel and aluminum. It practically the same as MIG welding but with more technique.

Please note, due to COVID-19, we have implemented the following policies:

  • Everyone must wash their hands upon entering the building.

  • Students must bring their own safety glasses or they will be available for purchase at the front desk for $3.

  • Students are also responsible for bringing their own welding helmets and welding gloves

  • Everyone must practice physical distancing and stay 6’ apart during the class when possible.
