Thunder Bay - NAN Community Visit Protocol Guide Engagement Session
This engagement will inform participants of protocols that should be considered as part of any relationship and reconciliation building process with First Nations. This session focuses on those First Nations that are members of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN).
Protocols are approaches, processes and considerations that reflect a community's ways of knowing, thinking and doing.
All Thunder Bay service and program providers that anticipate interacting with NAN First Nation students are invited to attend this half-day engagement session. Participants will receive the Community Visit Protocol Guide document as well as information on how to better connect with NAN First Nations.
