Tea and Tales is coming up this fall! We will be joined by amazing author, Beth Powning. We will also be joined by the talented poet, Clyde Wray. Widely acclaimed singer-songwriter, Mary-Beth Marks, will also be present to grace us with a performance. We will also be joined by up-and-coming Hampton artist Magnus LaBillois, and the very talented Clinton Charlton. CBC reporter, Bobbi-Jean MacKinnon will also be joining us to read from her best-selling book, "Shadow of Doubt: The Trial of Dennis Oland". We will have food, music, and an amazing auction! We have autographed books that have been donated by Margaret Atwood, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, John Green, Diana Gabaldon, and more!

We are hoping to have an even bigger and better event that ever before! We hope you can join us and help support adult literacy services in Saint John!

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children. Message us for more details. Tickets can be purchased at Sweet Boutique (116 Hampton Rd, Rothesay) or at READ Saint John (130 MacLaren Blvd). Call 633-2011 to reserve your tickets now.

*There will be some tickets available at the door, but to ensure there is enough food for all guests, we do ask that you purchase or reserve your tickets in advance. *

We have an amazing new book that will be available at Tea & Tales. The New York Times Bestseller, "Everything I Never Told You" by Celeste Ng will be up for auction. This is a beautiful and engaging book that explores topics such as grief, alienation, and family. This title was named a "Notable Book of the Year" by the New York Times and was also listed as one of NPR's "Best Books of 2014". The author is graciously donating an autographed copy for Tea & Tales. Tickets are now available. Message us for more details.

We have received autographed books by Giller Prize winner, Madeleine Thien. The Giller Prize is the most prestigious award for Canadian literature. Her book "Do Not Say We Have Nothing" also received the Governor-General's Literary Award, and was also a finalist for the Man Booker Prize. Ms. Thien has graciously sent us three autographed books, for our auction at Tea & Tales.

For all of you die-hard Diana Gabaldon fans, we have an autographed copy of "The Scottish Prisoner". Ms. Gabaldon is widely known for her "Outlander" series of novels, as well as the recent television adaption. "The Scottish Prisoner" is the latest book in the Lord John Grey Series. You can get your hands on it at our silent auction. Tea and Tales is Oct. 14th!

This is an autographed copy of "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green. This critically acclaimed book was #1 on The New York Times Bestseller List. It was also made into a very successful movie starring Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, and Laura Dern.
