The Peterborough-based singer and producer dedicates the track "to empowering those of us who feel vulnerable walking at night."

Yes there is, but we're still doing the set up. Thanks Hope for connecting - can you message us and we can chat speaker line ups and details? The event is Take Back the Night Cobourg and we've just made its own event page.

I was really hoping we could match downtown where it is most unsafe for women walking at night due to all the bars. I also feel it would raise more public awareness...... Thanks so much... No matter what I will be there....

Woman aren't the only people affected by violence on the streets :-) trans people are often erased in these conversations . Including trans folks isn't PC politics , we are real people who struggle with this as much/more

I totally agree..... This March started many years ago primarily as a feminist initiative, however if we truly are anti-oppression as feminist we welcome all those that want to support the March....i shouldn't really be commenting at all.....i am not on the organising committee..... However I have been b marching for many years and on the committee out west for several years..... And I love the empowerment and freedom i feel when I match

Two of the four simultaneous events will be held in town Centers and two on campuses in the four counties! An effort of inclusiveness!!! Doing our best to recognize and support all affected by sexual assault! Looking forward to seeing you there Jen. :)

I also think it should be downtown and mentioned this to organizers two years in a row. Perhaps if KSAC doesn't consider it to be in competition with their night, others can try and organize a walk downtown. Just a thought.
