Sunalta Cacao Gathering (Learn & Taste)
Must be a Sunalta resident to attend this event...
The Cacao Gathering is a peer-to-peer evening of sharing knowledge and passion for cacao. In the 1.5 hour gathering, you’ll learn about cacao’s origin and how it came to become popular, it’s health benefits, and experience a spiced (vegan) cacao beverage with a guided meditation.
Food is medicine. Cacao is a great example as it has theobromine which releases feel-good neurotransmitters like dopamine to the frontal lobe, hippocampus and hypothalamus. So join us for a feel good evening of sharing and connection over a cacao drink. The cacao drink will be “vegan” and made with non-dairy milk and natural ingredients (cacao and spices). If you have health issues/concerns, please consult a medical professional before attending.
During the 1.5 hour session, you'll experience:
Presentation on Cacao:
You will learn about the origin of cacao, how it became popular, it’s many health benefits, the uses of cacao and where you can find it (retail/wholesale).
We’ll take a 10 minute break to set up the gathering circle and prepare the cacao drinks for consumption.
Cacao Experience with Guided Meditation:
We’ll set an intention, then drink the spiced cacao beverage being guided during a meditation.
The evening will close with discussing how the evening was for you.
The Cacao Gathering will be limited to 15 people (Sunata residents). Reserve your ticket NOW.
Bring a cushion or yoga mag to sit on during the 2nd half of the gathering
