Learn or brush up on the essentials of stage management. Perfect for both emerging & established theatre & event management professionals.

Join professional stage manager Lore Green for a 3-part series of workshops that will cover the essentials of stage management. The workshop will run Feb 24, 26, and 28 from 6-9PM each night. Cost for all three sessions is $185, total, which includes all materials and processing fees.

Topics will include the basics of prepping, rehearsing, and calling stage productions and events. The final day of the workshop series will include a tour of the Mary Irwin Theatre at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Cost of the workshop includes all materials, though participants are encouraged to bring notebooks and their own writing utensils.

This workshop is designed for individuals who are interested in learning more about professional practices in stage management and we encourage those new or interested in stage management; those working as stage managers with no formal training; emerging and professional stage directors, technicians, and producers; event managers; and community planners working with stage production and event companies to attend.

Tickets are available by cash payment, in advance, by contacting viragocollect@gmail.com. Please use this email to connect with The Virago Collective with any questions.
