For Slow Art Day at the AGE, participants look at three works of art for 10 minutes each and then meet as a group to discuss. Following this slow looking activity, join curator Katherine Dennis for a facilitated conversation about the artworks and the experience.
Our current exhibition “Trace” brings together artworks by Gwenessa Lam and Hyung-Min Yoon that explore the circulation of images and the evolution of their meaning across time, countries and platforms.
Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. One day each year – April 4 in 2020 – people all over the world visit local museums and galleries to look at art slowly.
