Sketchbooks for Self-Care
Drawing is an amazing tool and it can have a powerful effect on our stress levels and overall well being. Fuel a healthy creative practice that includes some super simple drawing exercises and mindfulness techniques.
We'll be using various tools and surfaces so you can test out different artistic materials. If you have a sketchbook and drawing tools you already love, feel free to bring them but all materials to participate will be provided. This workshop is suitable to all skill levels and no prior drawing or creative experience is required. Use this class to start a drawing practice, try out new materials, energize your existing creative work, or just spend a fun night doing something for you!
Supplies are included plus you get to take home a Strathmore Mixed Media Visual Journal to continue your practice at home!
If you have a favourite art supply you are welcome to bring it along as well!
