Seedy Saturday Parkdale 2018
Join Greenest City and the Parkdale community for another Seedy Saturday on March 3, 2018!
Seedy Saturdays are annual seed exchanges, a series of gardening fairs and celebrations of seeds that occur during winter and early spring throughout Toronto and beyond. The events originated in Canada in the early 90’s, and have since spread across the world. Each Seedy Saturday (or Sunday) hosts a seed exchange where people can donate, return or borrow free seeds, and purchase seeds from local seed farmers.
Parkdale is a diverse community and our Seedy Saturday will celebrate that - join us to buy and exchange heirloom seed varieties, learn from interactive workshops, and support your local food justice initiatives! Food, drink, and children's activities will be provided!
Stay tuned for more information about food vendors and workshop opportunities leading up to March 3. For further inquiries, contact Molly Fremes at firstname.lastname@example.org
