The Regional District, with headquarters in Kamloops, provides library service to a population of 134,000 within its 45,000 square kilometer boundaries in the Central Interior of British Columbia. The library system has a staff of one hundred and fourteen (fifty nine FTE), including nine professional librarians, 13 libraries and one mobile library.
