NUIC National Gathering 2020
The National Urban Indigenous Coalitions cordially invites you as a Coalition member to the National Gathering 2020.
This conference will give Coalition members the opportunity to bring forward your communities vision for a better relationship with one another as urban Indigenous peoples, also to the co-development of urban Indigenous relations with the federal government.
This years theme is ‘Working Together – Co-development’ which reflects the National Coalitions goal to bring together community Indigenous voices to work towards co-developing Urban Indigenous Services and programs with the Canadian Government. Topics that will be explored at the Gathering will be co-development, Coalitions toolkit, urban Indigenous research, Urban Indigenous strategies, Indigenous youth programming and more.
Keeping with our theme ‘Working Together – Co-development’ focus is bringing together urban Indigenous people to work together to bring forward a strategy for co-development with Indigenous Service Canada on their Urban Indigenous Strategy. How can we work together as Urban Indigenous peoples and communities to co-develop this initiative to help the government move forward with their co-development phase of creating a new relationship with Indigenous peoples in Canada.
