Almost every aspect of business these days is inundated with the term “Design Thinking”. What most leaders and organizations fail to understand is that Design Thinking is not a ‘methodology”. It is not a set of tools or processes. Design Thinking is different from Design. In this month's meeting, Michael will address the conundrum of design thinking versus design by looking at the principles, rules and behaviours of Design Thinking, and the purpose and methods of Design.

Join us to learn how to:

  • Differentiate Design Thinking from Design;
  • Understand foundations of design thinking;
  • Consider different design methods.

Who should attend:

Business analysts and professionals who want to understand design thinking and how it differs from design.

Agenda:

5:00 to 5:30 pm - Registration, snacks and socializing
5:30 to 5:45 pm - Chapter updates & introduction
5:45 to 6:45 pm - Presentation + Q&A
6:45 to 7:00 pm - Door Prize Draw!
