Come join our Mindfulness Meditation Workshop! This certification program is lead by Stephane Bensoussan, a holistic psychologist with over 27 years of clinical experience and his specialization is in helping people overcome their emotional and physical limitations to reach their true potential. Our workshop has been designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Mindfulness Meditation, how to integrate it into your busy day-to-day life, as well as giving you the option to teach others in an individual and class setting. The goal is to train teachers that are ready to teach meditation and/or support those that want to refine their personal meditation practice. This 50hr certification process will include in-class learnings, personal homework and a home practice.

Who is this program designed for?

  • Are you a yoga teacher or health practitioner and wish to expand your skill set?
  • Do you have a personal meditation practice and would like to teach others?
  • Do you wish to be a meditation instructor and develop another stream of income?
  • Are you curious about meditation and wish to learn it for yourself and maybe teach others?
  • Do you wish to be a part of the mindfulness community?

PART 1

THE SCIENCE OF MINDFULNESS: OVERCOMING STRESS AND ANXIETY NATURALLY (6hrs)

Come discover how mindfulness can help you, as well as help you help others, transcend stress!

From the fields of neuroscience, psychophysiology and consciousness studies, learn how mindfulness changes the structure of the brain, alters our DNA, affects our perception and helps heal many psychological and physical conditions. You will learn how to:

  • Understand the science of mindfulness
  • Help people dealing with anxiety, depression, and negative emotional states
  • Apply the fundamental principles of Mindfulness in everyday life
  • Promote compassionate self-awareness and emotional balance
  • Find your inner peace

DATE: Saturday April 4th, 11:30-5:30pm

  • Theory: 11:30-4:00pm
  • Specialty Meditation class: "Meditation: Find your inner peace" 4:00-5:30pm

PART 2

MINDFULNESS FOR EMOTIONAL FREEDOM: THE PSYCHOLOGY OF LETTING GO (6hrs)

Letting go is not easy. 

Join us in learning how mental detachment is essential to support healing and end emotional suffering. Discover how to develop a practice of letting go of your stories, mental patterns and attachments. You will learn how to:

  • Transcend emotional suffering and drama
  • Manage physical pain more effectively
  • Silence your inner critic
  • Improve your relationships
  • Become emotionally non-reactive
  • Detach from your expectations and disappointments
  • Develop emotional resilience
  • Teach mindfulness to adults, teens and children

  • Theory: 11:30-3:30pm
  • Specialty Meditation class: "Meditation: Tame your ego, embrace your spirit" 4:00-5:30pm

PART 3

MINDFULNESS: CULTIVATING STILLNESS (6hrs)

Having trouble quieting your mind?

Join us in this session, as it will elaborate the practical ways to incorporate mindfulness into your busy daily life. The focus will be on how to practice and teach meditation using various techniques and props, including many breathing techniques, relaxation principles, rhythmic movements, asanas, standing postures, chanting, sacred sounds, and aromatherapy. You will learn how to:

  • Incorporate mindfulness into your lifestyle
  • Use several modalities to support your meditation practice
  • Structure and lead a meditation class
  • Heighten your intuition
  • Support people to develop resilience in facing adversity
  • Activate compassion for yourself and others

PART 4

MINDFULNESS: INTEGRATION (6hrs) *only for teachers seeking a yoga alliance certification

Ready to master the tools and spread the joy?

This final session is reserved for those seeking certification and who have completed parts 1, 2 & 3. The intention is to build confidence and master the art of teaching mindfulness, you will do this by using case discussions, presentations and interactive exercises. This workshop focuses on reviewing and consolidating your learning, that will allow you to:

  • Lead a meditation class with confidence
  • Use your intuition to guide you in Feeling out a class
  • Develop your own teaching style
  • Teach meditation in schools
  • Tailor a class to adults, teens or children
  • Be a part of a mindful teacher community
