MBCT is clinically proven to decrease symptoms of Anxiety and Depression:

  • Prevents relapses into Depression

  • Enhances your awareness of negative moods, thoughts, body sensations and behaviors

  • Includes training and practice in Mindfulness, Meditation, Mindful Movement and Cognitive Therapy

  • Encourages a skillful response to distressing emotions and thoughts

  • Helps to shift from "auto pilot" to intentional living

What the course consists of:

  • Weekly group sessions of 8-16 people, 2.5 hour groups for 8 weeks, plus one 1/2 day retreat

  • Weekly sessions held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

  • Committment to daily home practice (45 minutes)

  • Covered by many extended health benefits
