Market Systems Development Training
Join WUSC for a four-day training on Market Systems Development - a leading approach in economic development!
Market Systems Development (MSD) is an approach in economic development that focuses on the role of markets in poverty reduction, systems analysis, incentives, sustainability, and scale. The MSD approach was first developed in the UK and has since been adopted by various government organizations, such as DFID, Australian DFAT, SDC, DANIDA, USAID and more. More information on MSD can be found on the BeamExchange:
Over the course of four days, WUSC invites to join us in learning more about MSD in a practical environment from renowned market systems practitioners. Connect with development colleagues from a range of INGOs and development funders at the only MSD training available in Canada! Together, we will discuss a variety of topics, including: Market Systems principles and tools, working in Social Markets, Impact Investing in development and monitoring and evaluation in Market Systems programs.
Please note this training will be available in English only. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
