Indigenous Arts & Entrepreneurship
- Empowering Indigenous Artists -
An event for learning, sharing and empowering Indigenous artists and entrepreneurs.
The Indigenous Arts Conference is an inclusive community-centred event for creating, sharing and [re]learning our Indigenous art forms.
This conference ensures the transfer of knowledge and spirituality related to the production of our traditional Indigenous art forms and empower and arm our Indigenous women entrepreneurs with resources and opportunities to maximize their capacity to sustain entrepreneurship.
Likewise, our focus is on Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs and we intend to provide women with the tools they need for sustainable business practices.
AT THIS CONFERENCE:
Over 20 Indigenous art and arts based business workshops will take place over the weekend including Birch Bark Bitings, Ribbon Skirts, Inuit Linocuts and Printmaking, Hand Drums and lots more.

Our Indigenous Marketplace in the St. Laurent Shopping Centre will attract shoppers to dozens of artists that are ready to demonstrate, share and sell their traditional Indigenous art forms.
We welcome all who share our concerns for endangered Indigenous art form and artists and thank those who have already offered their support to this small initiative including
