2:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Starting with a short but detailed exploration of a 19th century Distillery, we move through historic and gorgeous Corktown, heading to south Corktown where we visit a wonderful new brewpub and microbrewery, where the educated staff and myself can guide us through their list of beers and their rotating guest taps.  Where permitting we will be given an insider tour of the brewery!  Guests choose from a flight of beer or a pint.  Flights include 4oz samples of four of their crafted beers!

Next we will cover more history of the area including the warehouses, factories, distilleries, gas companies and breweries. Explore secret back alleys and laneways not listed on any maps! We will learn about hidden native burial grounds and also secret Cholera burial sites underneath modern buildings and concrete!  We will discuss the history of the city and country, then shift the focus to the modern and present-day landscape, whilst we enjoy a peaceful stroll around the town!

Time for another beer and to finish at a gorgeous 19th Cent hotel and pub, attached to a massive former brewery from the 1870s.  Guests will be guided through the beer menu and a pint is included here!  We will finish here inside this Richardson Romanesque gem, and I will help you plan the rest of your stay, as we sit, enjoy and relax with a wonderful local brew!  The tour finishes close to where it begins and I have no problem walking guests back to where we started, time permitting!

This tour meets at the green entrance gates to the Distillery Historic District at 31 Trinity St.  I will be waiting for guests just outside the Distillery and right next to the gates.

The guide will remain there (with those present) until NO LATER than 15 minutes after the departure time of the tour.  Every effort will be made to wait for anyone late, but the tour will depart with those present no later than 15 minutes after scheduled departure time.  Please make plans to arrive BEFORE the departure time, and no later than 15 minutes past that time or you will miss the tour.
