A timely bootcamp for users of democracy and defenders of press freedom.

Join us March 30 at the Carleton School of Journalism and Communication for frank talk and urgent collaboration as we ready ourselves for the 2019 federal election campaign. 

9 a.m.: Doors open and coffee is served! 

9:30 a.m: Begin the day with BuzzFeed editor Craig Silverman and a frontline briefing on the world of fake news and online misinformation.

11 a.m.: Get a preview of what’s to come in 2019 from close observers of the political and digital landscape.

In a lightning round, newsroom leaders will discuss strategies and solutions.
