Food Fridays - Eat, talk and get inspired!
Food Fridays will take place at 10C from 12:00-1:00pm on most Fridays in 2020.
Join us in the
Nourish by 10C kitchen for a weekly video and discussion series to take place over the lunch hour on most Fridays in 2020.
A free potluck-style lunch will make it easy for you to attend.
Participants will eat together while engaging in informal conversation sparked by the video being shown that day. Food Fridays will feature different topics at each event to engage local business and community members in discussions focused on creating sustainable and equitable food systems.
These discussions will be used to identify ideas, connections and opportunities in Guelph and Wellington County.
On Friday, February 7th, we will be talking about the Circular Economy of Food 101.
The food offering this week will be rice bowls. Nourish by 10C will have rice prepared and a vegetable protein base - bring a topping you love to chop up and share! Yes, you can literally show up with a carrot, a cucumber, or a jar of pumpkin seeds and join us for lunch. The number of spots available varies by week. Please RSVP to secure your seat.
