DocNow 2019 Film Screenings

DocNow is an interdisciplinary documentary festival showcasing the work of Ryerson University's MFA in Documentary Media’s graduating class. 

Celebrating its 11th year, DocNow 2019 offers the work of 19 documentary practitioners through 13 films, 6 exhibitions.

Come join us for three nights of film screenings at the AGO's Jackman Hall.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Event starts at 7pm.

June 7th: Annum Shah, Prerana Das, Sara Wylie, Liz Montoya

June 11th: John Verhaeven, Nawal Salim, Emma Arsenault

June 13thDaniel Schrempf, Émeraude Domingos-Mbuku, Kenny McDonald, Dominic Akena

This year’s festival explores some of today’s critical issues, including memory, immigration, mental health, and considerations of the archive. 

All events are free and open to the public.
