DisPLACEment is a media arts production and outreach program that brings Indigenous, migrant + refugee youth together to make + share short videos that challenge biases, creatively explore changing ideas of ‘home’ and ‘belonging’, and shine light on impacts the impacts of and systems behind displacement.

At this event, four short films will be show and three panelists will speak about the experiences being part of making these incredible films, including the videographer. Come along for a vibrant and exciting conversation about the future of these films as educational tools across the province and to learn more about decolonization and anti-racism through media.

If you are able to contribute on the higher end of the scale, please consider doing so, so that other people, especially people of colour are able to attend.
