The Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show in Toronto returns to The Social Capital Theater for an amazing night of laughs!
Every month Luke Lynndale creates an amazing lineup by inviting three headliners. The show is always hilarious, thought provoking, and silly.
This month joining host Luke Lynndale are Courtney Gilmour, Joel Buxton, and Ernie Vicente.
Join us on The Danforth at the Social Capital Theatre's cozy 2nd floor.
Tickets: $12 (online), $15 (door).
Here is a little about each of the performers in the show.
Courtney Gilmour is one of Toronto's fastest rising comedy talents, and delivered a breakout performance at the 2017 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal by winning the Homegrown Comics Competition and filming a set for Kevin Hart's LOL Network. Courtney's victory at the 2017 Just For Laughs Homegrown was the first by a female comic in the 19 year history of the event.
Now in 2018 she’s topping it with televised performances at the Winnipeg, & Halifax comedy festivals, and a triumphant return to Montreal this summer for Just for Laughs
Joel was a two-time finalist in the Toronto Comedy Brawl, and has performed at festivals such as JFL42, Field Trip Music Festival, and NxNE. He produces a show called Don’t Break the Chain at Comedy Bar. Joel has released two sketch albums that are available on iTunes, the most recent called Bucky and Friends: Scoop into Cobra.
Ernie Vicente is a Filipino stand-up comedian from Toronto, Ontario. With his surreal observations and quick one-liners, Ernie has been entertaining audiences since 2008 starting at the world famous Yuk Yuk’s comedy club in Toronto. Since then, he has performed in clubs such as Absolute Comedy, The Second City, Montreal’s Comedy Nest, and most recently performing at comedy clubs in the United States such as Los Angeles, Sacramento and New York City. He was just featured on CBC's Laugh Out Loud program. He has also been a part of the NXNE and JFL42 festivals.
