Coniferous Winter Plant Walk SOLD OUT
Join Cherianne for an afternoon at Gamiing for a walk on the trails. You will learn about our local evergreens and how to incorporate them into your everyday life. Join us for some conifer tisanes and a wildcrafted snack before you head off!
Come dressed for the outdoors - we will be out there rain, snow or shine!
Bring a water bottle, small snack and a notebook/phone to take notes or pictures.
Cherianne Cybulskie, Outdoor Education Program Leader:
Since a very young age Cherianne has loved to be outside. She grew up wandering the countryside and wild areas in the 1000 islands region. Her passion for education and nature lead her to completing the Outdoor and Adventure Education diploma program at Fleming College. She currently lives in Curve Lake with her partner John and her two ferrets. Cherianne is continually learning skills that allow her to be deeper connected with our land. She is currently studying plants and all of their uses with a local practicing herbalist. Cherianne is passionate about sharing these traditional skills with people of all ages to help grow their knowledge and connection with the natural world.
