This time, we're pleased to invite Lindsay Waddell to be our Guest Speaker to present "Know Your Child’s Rights" ! Lindsay Waddell often represents families seeking to assert the rights of children with special needs in the school system. Lindsay’s talk is aimed at ensuring that you understand the rights of special needs children within the school system and know how to effectively advocate for your child.
Online option is offered at the same time, yet we strongly recommend attending presentations in person because:
1) parents can focus without home distractions2) parents can connect with other parents and share experiences. This meeting will not be recorded.

Bio. of Lindsay Waddell:
Lindsay Waddell is a partner at Moore Edgar Lyster LLP practicing union-side labour, human rights, professional regulatory and administrative law. She has a wide variety of litigation experience and has appeared as counsel before a number of administrative tribunals and at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Lindsay has extensive experience and particular interest in assisting clients with complex human rights issues as they affect workplaces, government services and the school system. Lindsay is frequently invited to teach and speak on a range of subjects including human rights, employment, labour law, advocacy and ethical issues.
