Ebony Girls Obsession empowers black women into action. We are a burgeoning community of driven women, who are invested in our well being. A sisterhood of creatives; entrepreneurs; wellness practitioners; human service providers, etc., who are active in caring for ourselves wholistically--and in turn, pour (from our overflow) into our respective communities.
Self-care 'n Sisterhood is a monthly session for us to focus on pouring into ourselves; share our stories and resources, and to hold each other accountable in realizing our purpose and continuing to grow ourselves + our vision. For Sessions 10 - 12 we'll be exploring ways to nurture our purpose/gift by increasing (y)our capacity, being a good steward, and taking care of (y)ourselves (wholistically). Each session will be as follows:
Session 10 - March 17, 2019: Increasing your Capacity
Session 11 - April 28, 2019: Stewardship
Session 12 - May 27, 2019: The Art of Care: conversations on natural/clean beauty
If you are looking to build community with other like-minded women, cultivate a self-care practice through writing and storytelling, or just need a day to fill up your cup in a creative and supportive space, SIS was curated just for YOU.
Sessions will be hosted by poet, community educator, and creator of Ebony Girls Obsession: Igho Diana
*Co-facilitators + guest speakers TBA
**Exact Location(s) will be announced (to ticket holders) 1 week prior to each session date.
