Boobs Yoga: a Practical Mammarian Health Workshop
Breast health begins with awareness and information. Join Erin Jacob and Jen Kinsey in this journey of appreciation for one of the most fabulous constructs of the human body. Learn to understand the basics of breast anatomy and explore techniques for fascial care, lymphatic drainage, breathing exercises, and ribcage mobilizations which will lead you to breast liberation and back again!
This workshop is safe and productive for anyone who has breasts that are natural, reconstructed, or removed! If you are a breast cancer survivor, this workshop is not only safe, but will teach you the skills to maintain a healthy progression forward physically, mentally, and emotionally. If you’ve enjoyed lifelong breast health, this workshop will help you continue on that way.
We’ll begin with an understanding of basic breast anatomy as we learn the changes breasts go through with childbirth, age, menopause, common conditions, and surgery or mastectomy. With this knowledge in mind, we’ll journey through a variety of techniques from yogic stretching and breathing exercises which loosen key tissues and boost immune function, to therapy ball rolling and self massage for fascial care or scar tissue, to lymphatic drainage techniques for cleansing and healthy circulation, this workshop will give you a holistic and informed approach to your own self care.
