3rd Annual Killarney Record Fair
The Killarney Record Fair returns to Calgary Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St. Matthew’s United Church (2035 26A Street SW). Based on the positive reception in past years, the 2019 fair expects to welcome upwards of 400 attendees between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The third annual fair will feature more than 20 local vendors, including Beatnik Bus, and crowd-favorite vendors who frequent popular local markets and fairs such as the Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association Flea Market on Sundays, and the twice-yearly Calgary Music Collectors Show. Admission is just $2 and free for children 12 and under. Off-street parking is available behind the church, with additional street parking where posted. Please note that only cash will be accepted at the door and there is no on-site ATM.

As in past years, the 2019 fair will offer a wide array of musical genres and styles – from Classic Rock to Classical and everything between on new and gently used vinyl records, compact disc and cassette tape. Over the past three years, as interest in vinyl record colleting has continued to grow in Calgary, the annual Killarney Record Fair has grown to fill St. Matthew’s United Church, with vendor tables on the main floor, throughout the basement, and now on the landing between floors. With support from the local church community, light refreshments – including freshly-cooked hot dogs, soda and chips – will be available for a nominal fee.
